Our client in the real estate industry is seeking a junior AutoCAD drafter for a contract opportunity.  Responsibilities will include utilizing AutoCAD to provide support to Property Management, Construction, Leasing and Development by preparing detail drawings, sketches, diagrams and routine layouts which include all views and necessary dimensions.   

Will work closely with internal departments including the Leasing dept to develop marketing plans (empty shell spaces from existing as-built library) and may be asked to layout a potential space plan. Will also work with Property Management team preparing sketches and plans for existing spaces and potential further tenant options, maybe parking layouts, storage space layouts.

·         Associates Degree required, preferably in Engineering or a related field.  AutoCAD certification preferred. 

·         A minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience working with AutoCAD software packages required. 

·         Solid understanding of drafting techniques and standards required and familiarity with engineering and construction terminology preferred.

·        Demonstrated attention to detail.

·         Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.

·         Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.

·         Demonstrated ability to determine needs and achieve results without close supervision.

·         Ability to effectively interface with all departments of the Company and to represent the Company in a highly professional manner.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
