Our client, a dynamic engineering consulting firm, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its successful team.  The position encompasses the full range of electrical engineering including power, motor control, PLCs, and instrumentation within the natural gas and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) industries.  The position involves interface with customers and contractors.    

Candidates should have 5+ years experience.  The ideal applicant should be comfortable with every aspect of design from concept through construction and start-up.  Experience with process plant instrumentation, controls, and classified area design a plus. Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to be responsible for working with customers and the Sales team developing solutions and quotes for material handling systems (equipment & layout) for factory warehousing / material handling systems.

Responsibilities will include 

·          Provide technical support for all Salespeople throughout the quoting stage of a project.

·          Review all design parameters used to develop system, including products to be handled, throughputs, safety requirements, and review system layouts for accuracy and make changes as required.

·          Develop a preliminary project schedule for all new projects and conduct on-site verifications of existing conditions prior to the start of system development. Verify site specifications/costs/project schedules/equipment changes as required throughout the project.

·          Work with suppliers and/or general contractor involved with each project. This engineer over time will establish and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers to support development of designs, delivery schedules, etc.

·          Prepare engineered layout drawings, bills of materials, spare parts lists, maintenance manuals.

·          Order equipment and services and coordinates with all outside parties to ensure timely project completion.

·          Monitor installation progress and support system check out, run-in and commissioning

Our client, a startup company working to develop a handheld medical device,  is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in design of electronics for handheld instruments.  The candidate should, within a small team, analyze electronics hardware requirements, work on improvements to the current prototypes, design/develop/assemble/test new solutions, bench test prototypes, manage hardware designs/documentation and develop instrument drivers in C/C++ in an embedded development environment.  This position is suited to an individual who is able to work both independently and in concert with others, and find creative solutions to complicated problems that might reach beyond the applicant’s field of specialty. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A successful candidate for this position will work within a small team and have the following duties and responsibilities:

·         Develop hardware requirements, design and develop solutions, outsource manufacturing/assembly, assemble and bench-test/troubleshoot and test new enhanced prototypes of a handheld medical device.

·         Provide hardware support for the maintenance and refit of prototypes.

Our client is seeking an RF Microwave Engineer to join its successful team.  Responsibilities include:        

• Lead engineer for RF/Microwave/Millimeter communications hardware systems for defense application including technical proposals, prototype to production, performance, customer presentations, schedule, and cost requirements.
• End-to-end systems analysis, model and simulate circuit or system performance using analytical tools, Cascade analysis or up/down converters.
• Detailed analysis and design of RF (from VHF through millimeter-wave) and mixed-signal communications hardware components.  These include: control circuits (switches and attenuators), amplifiers, passive elements, filters (lumped and distributed), DLVAs, oscillators, multipliers and other related circuitry.  
• Control circuitry including digital interface, command and monitoring along with A/D and D/A conversion

Our client is seeking Project Design Engineer with a background in the design of cables and connectors for a leading role in their design group.   This engineer will be asked to assist sales at the quotation/sales order stage through product release.  Will utilize SolidWorks to design product, using a variety of materials, to military and commercial standards, and will be experienced with thermodynamics and heat transfer considerations.  As the owner of the design, this engineer is also responsible for development and implementation of procedures used to assemble, process test and or manufacture their designs. 

To be successful this engineer must have a BS degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical or related field.  Will have a proven background in the design of cables and connectors with at least 5+ years working in as an Engineer.  This engineer should have experience working within a military product environment and have solid abilities in project management through the lifecycle of product.  SolidWorks skills desired but other 3D modeling tools will be considered if other requirements are met or exceeded.  Fiber Optic or Ethernet Technologies knowledge/experience considered a plus.
