Our client has an immediate
opening for a
Reliability Engineer
to be the liaison for
Field Return data
analysis and reporting
to the internal and
external Failure
Review Boards (FRB)
and periodic Program
Management Reviews (PMR).
The incumbent will be
an active participant
in the division’s
Failure Reporting,
Analysis and
Corrective Action
Systems (FRACAS).
This would include
performing failure
analysis on failed
systems and
components, making
trend determination,
evaluating impact to
production hardware,
and preparing charts
to support Customer
and Managements
review. The
Reliability Engineer
must be able to
demonstrate initiative
and work in a
fast-paced demanding
environment.
Essential
Functions/Responsibilities:

Manage
and/or create
Microsoft Access
databases
·
Create
overall metrics to
summarize failure data
and overall summary
performance
·
Work
with precise limits or
standards of accuracy
·
Collect,
evaluate and analyze
information,
specifically to
include MTBF, TAT, CA,
EOL, etc.
·
Make
decisions based on
professional standards
and personal judgment
·
Write
reports and keep
detailed and accurate
records
·
Meet
deadlines
·
Manage
information
·
Approve
finished products for
distribution
·
Frequent
use and application of
technical standards,
principles, theories,
concepts, and
techniques
·
Provide
solutions to a variety
of technical problems
of moderate to complex
scope and complexity

direct revenue
