Our growing client is a smaller division of a successful global corporation that designs, manufactures, sells and services special machines to large and small clients throughout North and Central America. Their target industries include automotive, electrical, medical and other specialty industries. The company is a close-knit team of talented professionals who have a “do what it takes” attitude.
They are currently seeking a professional with 5-10 years of sales/business development experience in the battery manufacturing industry to assist with growing market share and developing relationships within North America working toward successful creating a successful sales channel.
Responsibilities will include:
• Penetrate the battery industry to promote our client’s technology
• Define potential customers’ need and compare to our client’s product offering
• Report to development and management customer current and future product needs
• Qualify and develop activity with new prospects and existing accounts in the battery industry
• Provide progress reports on account activity and projects to management
• Enter and track customer information and correspondence in the CRM tool
• Create presentations for target audiences to promote our client and their technology
• Identify and participate in industry seminars and trade shows
• Establish strong working relationships will all levels within customers hierarchy
• Transition customer projects to sales opportunity
• Provide equipment quotation and close opportunities
• Work hours needed to close the sales opportunities within the territory
• Travel as necessary to complete the above duties (est. 25-50%)
