Buyer / Inventory Management

Our well-established client is a leading manufacturer of their niche products sold worldwide. They offer a small company, collaborative environment in which team members make a real impact and drive the company’s success. They currently seek a talented and motivated individual to assume a key role encompassing buyer and inventory management responsibilities. This position offers an ideal mix of traditional purchasing and hands-on inventory / warehouse tasks. Specifically:

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for all supply chain activities including placing, confirming, and scheduling purchase orders.
• Implement and maintain efficient inventory management system.
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate purchasing contract and schedule product deliveries.
• Work with documentation department to maintain current documents and BOM’s with suppliers.

Background profile:

• Experience in electronic manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with off-shore and domestic contract manufacturers and other suppliers is helpful.
• Experience with purchasing procedures (BOMs, documentation, sourcing), inventory management and cost negotiations.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
