Field Applications Engineer

Our rapidly growing client is seeking a versatile electrical engineer, who enjoys traveling to client sites, to be the technical lead in supporting power electronics product lines. To be successful in this role candidates must display strong technical and communication skills that include working with utility protection and control engineers, integrating company solutions with customer SCADA networks and customer control systems as well as assisting in the analysis of power flow studies. Candidates must also have the ability to lead technical training webinars as well as on-site training programs.

Additionally the Field Applications Engineer will be the technical SME for customer pilot projects, working closely with customers to demonstrate/quantify technical performances and preparing performance reports and must proficient in troubleshooting equipment either in person or remotely. Expertise in utility voltage regulation, power quality, and VVO applications is required. A BS engineering degree with knowledge of power systems engineering and experience in an engineering or technical applications is also required.
