Junior Buyer / Technical Assistant

Our client is seeking a Junior Buyer / Technical Assistant to join their dynamic team northwest of Boston, MA. For this role, the selected candidate should have experience purchasing materials from OEM’s, have excellent Excel abilities and be comfortable working off of BOMs. The Junior Buyer / Technical Assistant will be responsible for creating formulas, spreadsheets, tables and graphs using Excel as well as conducting material research and managing customer supplied materials. They should also have strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities as there will be administrative tasks that must be performed such as taking meeting notes, providing clear documentation, greeting customers, answering the phone and setting up Zoom meetings. This is a very visible role for our client, candidates must be comfortable interacting with all members of the team and customers on a daily basis.
