Magnetics Design Engineer – Hybrid/Remote

Our unique client is seeking an experienced Engineer with the ability to contribute to the design and development of custom magnetic components. The primary emphasis for this role will be on high frequency switching power magnetics for all topologies as well as knowledge of switching power supply circuits and circuit design. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD abilities and have prior experience using circuit analysis tools, and electromagnetic simulation. They will be responsible for developing tests and also constructing, testing, analyzing and evaluating prototypes, while working closely with clients focusing on the Defense, Aerospace and Industrial markets. Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Design, develop, test and document custom magnetic components
• Interface directly with suppliers, keeping current with technology and products
• Design special test circuits
• 5+ years’ experience with a BSEE (emphasis on power) or equivalent
