Manufacturing Process Engineer

Our client, a very busy manufacturer is in need of a Process Engineer whose primary function will be to support various processes that comprise PCB and electro-mechanical manufacturing. Thorough knowledge of SMT, Through Hole and Process Technology are required as well as working with process development to improve work flow and decrease production cost. In this role you will support new product introduction and evaluate new products. You will also be responsible for supporting the production floor and have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Background profile for the Manufacturing Process Engineer:

• Identify tooling, panelization and methods of assembly that optimize processing
• SMT, Through Hole component and process technology are required
• Experience in a directly related industry or manufacturing process
• Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office programs
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in a contract manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to work independently and be effective in a fast paced environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Show good judgment through decision-making
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred
