Process Engineering Lead

Our client in central MA is seeking a Process Engineering Lead to join their growing team. In this role you would be responsible for leading their process team and providing technical expertise in the design, development, and optimization of their manufacturing processes to meet production requirements and quality standards. You will also be tasked with developing and implementing process control plans to ensure the consistency of the materials being used as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to solve problems and improve operations. To be successful in this position you will have a deep understanding of process engineering principles and also have experience managing or leading a team of engineers in a manufacturing environment.

Process Engineering Lead Responsibilities and Qualifications include:

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Train and mentor process engineers on process engineering techniques and best practices.
• Develop and manage project timelines and budgets for process engineering projects.
• Train and mentor operators and technicians on rubber processing techniques and best practices.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure our client’s rubber processing operations remain competitive and effective.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in process engineering with 3+ years in a leadership role.
