Project Engineer / Senior Test Engineer

Our dynamic, very busy client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, the selected candidate will work closely with the development team and be responsible for integrating LabView into custom test equipment, troubleshooting any integration issues, reporting the findings back to the development team and keeping the stakeholders up to date on the projects progress. To be successful in this hands-on role, the Project Engineer must have strong LabView skills and a solid understanding of automated test systems. They will also have experience selecting, interfacing, testing and validating the control system hardware and as well as produce test system specifications. The ideal candidate is someone who is capable of overseeing a number of projects once and can wear multiple hats in a small team environment but also work independently, making decisions that will benefit the automated test systems as well as the company. Background profile:

• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Strong experience using LabView for system integration
• Experience with Automated Test Equipment
• The ability to work ‘hands-on’ from first principles to diagnose electrical and electronic issues using common test and measurement equipment. Equally comfortable with theoretical and practical approaches to problem solving
