Structural Engineer – Bridges
Our client is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their successful team in the Greater Boston area. The selected candidate will have experience with designing bridges and load ratings as well as preparing rating reports. Responsibilities will include conducting bridge inspections, preparing inspection reports, preparing construction cost estimates/proposals and coordinating with CAD designers to develop plans. To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should be a qualified NBIS Inspection Team Leader and have an engineering degree, preferably in Civil/Structural, but other technical disciplines will be considered. Structural Engineer Preferred Background:
Completed one or more of the following NHI courses:
• Safety Inspection of In‐Service Bridges (130055)
• Bridge Inspection Refresher Training (130053)
• Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges (130078)
• Tunnel Safety Inspection (130110)
Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures (130087)
Working knowledge of MassDOT (including MBTA), Massport, and DCR Bridge Design, Rating, and Inspection Programs
