Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to join their Business Development team to actively participate in the generation of new business opportunities. In this role the Technical Account Manager will be responsible for earning new business with high value accounts by ensuring a positive customer experience. Additionally, the selected candidate will develop a close working relationships with existing accounts as well as identify additional key decision makers to determine growth potential and develop strategies to earn new business while completing negotiations with the decision makers for long term opportunities. To be successful in this role the Account Manager will follow up on productive feedback for all issued quotes to share with internal stakeholders, coordinate re-quotes or re-bids as needed to best suit evolving customer needs, and assist the customer service department in escalating communication with assigned accounts as required. This is a high-profile position where the Account Manager should have a solid understanding of strategic objectives for the assigned accounts and know how to best support them while being driven and goal oriented; focused on completion and excellent in follow-through.

Technical Account Manager Additional Responsibilities will Include:
• Participate in the execution of first and high value orders with new accounts
• Take full responsibility in ensuring a positive customer experience at all times
• Complete quarterly reviews and/or visits with all assigned accounts
• Request referrals at other locations and divisions within larger accounts for further account development
• Share potential target accounts with the Business Development Team
• Take part in the creation of marketing content and overall business development strategy
• Manage and log all activities in the CRM
• Support efforts in converting high value qualified leads into new accounts

Technical Account Manager Preferred Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of professional experience in technical sales, supply chain, and/or project management
• Preference for experience in the DoD / Aerospace Industry
• Preference for experience working in manufacturing, particularly contract manufacturing
• Excellent writer and communicator (in both the written and verbal form)
• Strong organizational and time management skills with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
• Must be a self-starter and possess an ability to work at the highest levels with very little supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while utilizing internal resources to best support multiple accounts
• Team player with the confidence to present a professional and positive demeanor
• Must be a U.S. citizen
